Water is coming out of the AC unit?

Had my evaporator coil replaced 2 yrs ago, outside unit last year. AC is cooling the house fine, but tonight stepped in a puddle on the floor. The PVC pipe is gurgling water when the AC runs. Do I call a plumber or the AC guys? Anything I can do in the meantime?

How do you figure out that your wireless router has truly gone bad?

My internet acts slow with it. I hook my computer directly the modem, everything is fine. I restore the default settings of the router and the problem still occurs with no security. Has my router somewhat gone bad? I want to know before spending money. Its not that it doesn't work. Boyfriend's actions confused me.....?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for about two months. He is 32 and I am 27. We met online and really hit it off. We compliment. We had been seeing each other maybe 2-4 days a week and chatting on the phone at night. About three weeks ago or so the shower at my apartment broke and was leaking into the walls and into the ceiling below causing major problems, and it left me without a shower. I work everyday and I need a shower, and upon hearing this problem my boyfriend offered to let me stay with him until it got fixed, and I was told by the plumber it would be about a week to a week and a half tops. Needless to say, one week turned into two and it's still not fixed today. On Tuesday after getting to his apartment around 9:30, he tells me that he hates the situation I'm in but he doesn't think us seeing each other everyday at this time in our relationship is the best thing to do, and I agree, but I cannot control the situation I am in. I have inquired with the plumber every few days to no avail, so my hands are really tied and he knows that. Upon telling me this, he also says he didn't realize the transition would be so hard for me, from seeing me a few days a week to a full time relationship and he's not sure how to handle it. He said, however, when he thinks about me not being there are night with him he misses me and gets sad, but on the other hand he wants time to do his things like play his guitar and write music and be alone. He has a history of depression and I really think he's going through a hard time right now. He said we should look at this as a positive part of our relationship and not a negative one if we want our relationship to be as healthy as it can be. He told me he loved me and he genuinely cares about me and appreciates everything about me. The entire conversation he was not cold and was comforting towards me and said it was very hard to tell me this because he didn't want to hurt me because I am so kind and nice towards him. But I'm confused. Did he break up with me? Or does he still care about me and wants a little room since I've been staying with him for a few weeks? He told me he loves me and cares about me a lot, and held me and kissed me before bed that night. He said he understands I'm hurt but he'd rather be honest and communicate with me than stuff his feelings inside and grow to resent me. He called me last night to say hello and check in, and said he would talk to me today. He texted me this morning and said he wasn't going to work but to have a good day, and said take care. He is slowly ending things with me? What is he doing? He said he wants to be with me and spend time with me and he enjoys everything we have and that he feels this needs to happen or else it will be the demise of our relationship. I have already used Nature's Miracle and Urine Off to try to get rid of the cat urine odor on concrete in basement. I need to use a sealer to seal in the remaining odor. I want a clear color. Do I use oil based or solvent based or what? I asked at Lowes and the folks there had no idea what to use for this problem. We had a big storm down south today. The "regulator" (I believe it is called) has been making the well pump cut on and off frequently as of late. This evening we had water gushing out of the hot water heater onto our floor. We cut off the well pump power and I switched off the hot water pump switch as well. New plumbing shower has "beer flies"?

I had a complete re-do of a 1st floor bathroom. The bathtub was removed completely and replaced with a shower. The tile/plumber contractor created a new drain pan and wrapped it in rubber sheeting, up to the wall board, and then made a cut out for the drain, then poured concrete and made a p-trap of pvc below. Ever since I have noticed small flies like beer flies around the drain. I have flooded the drain with bleach, but the flies return on the walls and on the shower curtain. Anybody know what's causing them???

Why would a young, healthy women let visible beard hairs grow, instead of plucking them?

Last week, I saw my niece. She is about 35 years old, married, with 4 children. She never was one to use make-up, dye her hair or manage her weight, but she has a desk job and does keep her hygiene and dresses appropriately. When we met, she had quite some visible, thick, black beard hairs. She could not have missed them, they where very distinct. I know this is not abnormal to occur with women and off course she is entitled to let them grow and I didn't mention anything to her, that is not up to me, I think. 99 Tahoe not starting?

MMk I've been out and about, in and out all day with the Tahoe and no problems. I go to the rec center, go inside for about 20 minutes, come out, and the Tahoe doesn't want to start. It acts like it wants to-I mean it really was trying to start, but just never kicked in. It's kinda like rarararararara, and then nothing. I noticed there was zero water in that little box that keeps coolant....I had a sealer put in about 6 months ago to keep it from losing coolant. So I put some water in there thinking maybe just maybe that would help. I go to start it again and it does the rarararararara sound and I get nothing. Then I try again and it just does a "click" like the battery is dead. I look at the battery gauge and it's very low. The battery was replaced last year...I believe. So I have someone give me a jump. We sat there for 20 minutes trying to juice it up. The gauge went up a little...just above the red line. There are two red lines. Before that it was in the border line red line. So it got a little bit of juice, but not much. Finally gave up and pushed it in the parking lot, now waiting to figure out what I should do next. Does anybody have any ideas what sounds like may be the problem??

i had an event occur about 6 months ago where my wife told me a couple of guys hit on her, one on FB and the other in her office, she told the guy on FB that she was happily married and not interested and the guy at her office who had somewhat crossed the line several times, she just ignored his advances and more casually shrugged it off, she said this was because she didnt feel threatened and had worked with him for 3 years and he had only done this 2 or 3 times. Kitchen Sink Pipes Exposed?

My aunt had all her home pipes replaced, in the kitchen she had new less than a year old pipes but the plumber said they had to be replaced because all the new pipes where PVC (yet he left the old metal shower pipes as is with PVC in certain areas). Can I use a wood polyurethane coating to cover tile/grout on a bar?

The guy at Lowe's said instead of a sealer he recommended a polyurethane coat to protect the tiles in case a glass is slammed down or something to prevent a tile getting cracked or chipped. It made sense so we went with that. The can he picked out for us says it's for wood though. The directions don't mention it being used for grout or tile anywhere. My question -is it still ok for us to use polyurethane? And if so did he just hand us the wrong kind of polyurethane on accident?

It's a two-handled sink faucet. It's been leaking for about a month now. It's a very slow drip, but still a problem. I've already examined and cleaned the spout of the faucet. Even after I shut off the hot and cold water valves to the sink, the water still continues to drip. Turning the handles to drain the pipes of leftover water and shutting them off again, the faucet still continues to drip. I'm just wondering if they're still good since it's almost June. The meat looks a different color than it does when it's fresh (when it's fresh it's a dark red but now it's a light red) but i'm thinking that's just cause it's frozen. Anybody know if it's still good and how long it's gonna be good for??

my engine was losing coolant so i found out it was coming out the tailpipe due to a bad headgasket. I used a gasket sealer and it seamed to work but my car is still sending coolant to the overflow tank and not sending it back to the engine. Is my radiator the problem?

What's wrong with my Facebook account?

This problem occurred today, and yesterday. I logged into facebook, like I normally do, and I tried to open my chat window. It didn't open all the way, it just froze, so I reloaded the page and tried the same thing again, and nothing. And it's not that no one was online, because it said on the bar "Chat (47)." And even when I looked to the left side, I didn't my friends' pictures like I usually do. So I thought that was odd. So then I tried to click the notification picture to view my notifications. It did the same thing! It FROZE! And I did the same thing again, I reloaded the page, and it happened again. So then I tried to scroll down my news feed, and usually when I scroll down my news feed, it runs down smoothly, but this time I had to press the downward arrow. And when I pressed it guess what happened? NO, it didn't freeze, it just pushed me back up to the top of the page! And plus, it didn't even show me anymore posts! Then I tried to look at one of my friend's pictures and it froze! I don't know how this problem happened and I don't know what to do! I know facebook has been changing a little, and it might be due to that, but I am an AVID facebook-er, and I can't stand the fact that I can't check my notifications, or see what my friends are doing! So if there's anything that I can do ASAP, please, PLEASE, let me know!

What happens if I accidentally put injector cleaner in my transmission?

I bought injector cleaner for my truck and transmission sealer for my transmission. I didn't have my glasses on when I went to put the transmission sealer in and accidentally put the injector cleaner in the tranny. I recently painted my 96 z28 the clear was chipping very bad so I sanded the entire car and shot it with BC\CC well it looked great until it rained the next day. it had deep blue waterspots under my clear I freaked out dummy me started tring to sand them out of the hood only thank god, it wasent doing any good so I had to work the next couple days the next day I was off I went out to look at it agan and the spots where all gone I was very happy they where gone but i still have to redo the hood because i went through the clear. I sanded the hood and shot another basecoat on it all around the spot I went to deep was wrinkeling up looked bad,I think it was because the solvents in the new paint caused the first base to soften, any suggestions I can solve this problem?????? Do u think if I sanded than shot sealer over the intire panel would help???

My Dad and Granny have horrible memories. They both tell the same stories every time you talk to them. They get stories so twisted, and just seem generally confused no matter how many times you try to tell them how something actually occurred. For instance, I told my dad that my cousin "Heather" told me something which gave away a surprise party for me and the next time I talk to him, he says my friend "Tiffany" is the one that told me, and is insistant upon it, and has even told my Granny and others that "Tiffany" blew the surprise for me. He goes on talking about how bad my Granny's memory is and says "Tell me when mine is that bad" BUT IT ALREADY IS! It's so frustrating talking to them because they go on for hours with the same exact stories every time we talk. I think it's rude to tell him that his memory IS that bad, if not worse than Granny's. Should I tell him that he does have memory problems??

Should I prime my walls before painting?

I was planning on using behr premium plus ultra so I didnt have to prime the whole inside of my house (we recently bought a house and the ENTIRE inside needs painting) the people that lived there before had pets and let them pee/poo in the house so we are also trying to kill the smell. From your description this is a very major tear down and rebuild, If I were you I would expect it to come out somewhere around $30,00 at least and likely more.

I have a 24 inch rim, and it obtained a crack. can this crack be removed by weliding the rim back together?

All you can do is take it to a weld shop and see what they say. Some metals can't be welded and some can. If the rims bent by the crack maybe they can straighten it but if the whole rim is bent then it's junk.

What type clear coat will not yellow?

I am painting a cocktail table top a cream color. The paint I have now is a latex paint. I put a poly sealer on the top to make it more durable, because I read online that poly typically doesn't turn yellow. Well...within a week, my top was completely yellow. I am re-doing the floor on my boat.?

The floorboards and transom were completely rotted out of my boat when I got it. It’s a 1977 Galaxy 17ft 175hp. Right now I’m putting down pressure treated plywood for the floor, I couldn’t afford the marine grade. But when I have it all down I want to fiberglass over the whole thing to make sure no water ever gets in there again. Are there any sealers out there that are better than glass or is that my best bet. I was toying with the idea of using rhino shin, like in truck beds, but I don’t know how that would work out. But I will have marine grade carpet down over it when its all done so texture and looks won’t matter.

Baby teeth decay: how is it treated on the front teeth?

I noticed some shallow brownish spots right on the front surface of my two-year-old son's upper front teeth. They are close to his gums, but they don;t touch the gums. At first I thought they were just enamel stains, but after a closer look and doing some research, I think those are small cavities. I'll be calling a dentist for an appointment tomorrow, but I am very nervous and cannot sleep. How can those cavities be treated if they are so shallow? I think regular fillings could just fall out! Found mold in my basement apartment, green with white fluffy stuff?

I was away from home for a couple of weeks, and when I came home today I walked into a very smelly, damp feeling apartment. I've only lived here since March, but since the weather has warmed up I did notice it was very cool and damp all the time - I was kind of relieved with the cool air, didn't need to buy an air conditioner, but the dampness concerned me a bit. Anyway, after cleaning almost everything in my apartment, it still smelled very strongly, kind of like sewage but more just like something rotten. I looked around and came across a big patch of green mold in my bedroom, just above the baseboards, and it looked like it was growing down under the carpet and smelled awful. I also noticed that it was right below one of my windows, and I do remember one day about a month ago that I was out and left the window open and there was a big downpour - but when I came home there didn't seem to be that much wetness, I cleaned up most of it anyway, I don't know if that's what it is. I've had plumbing problems in this place already as well so I'm wondering if the pipes could be leaking under the floor making the carpet damp. I'm staying at my boyfriends now and took my pets with me, but I'm feeling really off, like nauseous and really tired with a headache. I'm going to contact my landlord tomorrow, but should I be concerned about how I feel right now or will it subside? Thanks

Why does grout for new wall tile darken upon getting wet, after my installer claimed he sealed them?

Is this normal depending on the type of sealer...or were they not sealed or is moisture from the tiling and/or grouting still trying to get out? He waited 2 days after grouting to seal. I wasn't around so I don't know for sure if he really sealed them, but water does bead up on the tile itself in spots.

Why did my OLYMPUS T20 Flash make a loud POP/SNAP sound?

This flash was working just fine right when I bought it. I took several shots with it until a random POP/SNAP sound occurred seconds after I turned it off. I turned it back on to see if the charged light would appear, but it never seemed to come back on anymore. I opened up the flash and saw many wiring inside connected to a circular cylinder black object. I tried to take the tape off the circular object and the POP noise happened again in my face. When I turn it on, I can still hear a sound as if it's trying to get charged but it's not apprehending to it's fully functioning process.. What could be wrong? I have no background information towards flashes what so ever.. I would really like some help.. anything please! :)

During my second pregnancy, toward the end, I noticed a weakening in the right side of my face and was then diagnosed with bells palsy. How can I eliminate air in my water lines?

A few mo.s ago I had my house water tank replaced. A few days later I noticed a very small leak from one of the solder joints. The leak stopped a wk later. I am still getting air in the lines. For over 30 yrs I never had air in the lines, so it has to be coming from one of the solder joints. If you seal your tiles and grout it should protect them from getting dirt dug into them. But, before you reseal them you need to make sure they are truly 100% clean otherwise all the other dirt and grim will be stuck inside the seal. I live in an apartment complex in TN. I recently had surgery and ALWAYS make sure I lock my front door when my partner is at work. I wouldn't be able to fend off an intruder if need be. Anyway, this past Saturday after my partner left, I locked the front door and jumped in the shower. Ten minutes later, I heard a VERY loud banging sound right before I got out. I put on a towel and walked into my living room. The very first thing I did was check the front door, which I found to be unlocked. I then proceeded to look out of my windows to see my maintenance man, running like a madman to his truck. He got in, then took off like a bat out of hell. I locked the door again and called the office. I didn't get anyone directly, so I went down there. The associate who was there said she did receive a plumbing work-order for apt 305 and he could have gotten the numbers mixed up, despite working here for the past 20 years. I've worked in property management and said I can totally understand that. I then asked her what type of problem 305 was having. She said 305 didn't have any water pressure, that the maintenance man was POSSIBLY checking my unit to see if this was the cause of the problem OR, that he was "looking for something else." Thinking this was odd, seeing as 305 isn't on my side of the building, I said okay, I just wanted to make sure he just wasn't coming in just because. She then said, he always knocks and announces himself before coming in and never enters without your permission, or if you are not there. Okay, but that is exactly what happened. I didn't answer my door or give him permission to enter and he did anyway, while I was in the shower. 305 is WAY down the hall and is directly across from 306. Wouldn't it have been a little more logical to check the closest units first, instead of one that is 3 units down? If this WAS the case, why did he slam my door, leave it unlocked, speed off in his truck, rather than waiting outside my door for a couple of minutes and then re-knocking, to check my unit? Is there any way that this would be seen as a breach of contract by the court system?.. Im willing to do what it takes to find us a more suitable home.

I live in an apartment complex in TN. I recently had surgery and ALWAYS make sure I lock my front door when my partner is at work. I wouldn't be able to fend off an intruder if need be. Anyway, this past Saturday after my partner left, I locked the front door and jumped in the shower. Ten minutes later, I heard a VERY loud banging sound right before I got out. I put on a towel and walked into my living room. The very first thing I did was check the front door, which I found to be unlocked. I then proceeded to look out of my windows to see my maintenance man, running like a madman to his truck. He got in, then took off like a bat out of hell. I locked the door again and called the office. I didn't get anyone directly, so I went down there. The associate who was there said she did receive a plumbing work-order for apt 305 and he could have gotten the numbers mixed up, despite working here for the past 20 years. I've worked in property management and said I can totally understand that. I then asked her what type of problem 305 was having. She said 305 didn't have any water pressure, that the maintenance man was POSSIBLY checking my unit to see if this was the cause of the problem OR, that he was "looking for something else." Thinking this was odd, seeing as 305 isn't on my side of the building, I said okay, I just wanted to make sure he just wasn't coming in just because. She then said, he always knocks and announces himself before coming in and never enters without your permission, or if you are not there. Okay, but that is exactly what happened. I didn't answer my door or give him permission to enter and he did anyway, while I was in the shower. 305 is WAY down the hall and is directly across from 306. Wouldn't it have been a little more logical to check the closest units first, instead of one that is 3 units down? If this WAS the case, why did he slam my door, leave it unlocked, speed off in his truck, rather than waiting outside my door for a couple of minutes and then re-knocking, to check my unit? How can I make my new Travertine tiles more shiny?

The tiles are of the honed and filled type and have yet to be sealed with an impregnator. The majority of the tiles are in a wc room - walls and floor with (electric underfloor heating) and some in bathroom (floor with elec underfloor heating) and around basin and bath area. I have tried sanding a spare tile with 200/400/800 and 1200 paper with water but can hardly get any sheen on it at all. I am looking for a semi-gloss to gloss finish. Would like to use a low maintenance sealer ie reapplying no less than every 2-5 years if poss. If it requires extra polish on top of that then am willing to apply that more often. Thanks!

dampen a rag with turpentine or mineral spirits to get the majority of it up. that portion which has worked its way into the pores or grain of the surface you'll have to use a scrub brush and apply the solvent a little more liberally. then using a clean rag blot up the remaining sealer.

Second Apartment adventure, question about renters history?

Ok, so I am about to move into my own apartment pretty soon, for the second time. The first attempt was a cluster-f**k like I have never seen in my life. I moved into this place a while back, about 5 months ago and the people that managed the utilities up there were ridiculous- I could never get ahold of them, they overcharged me, had one single guy managing the water for this entire little community and even when I did get ahold of him and pay my deposit they did not hook up my water. The Electric company was only slightly better in the fact that I did manage to get it turned on at last. But the water guy continued to send me bills, even though I had used exactly none of his services whatsoever. My propane tank was busted, had a missing part so I couldn't get heat either. After a month or two of living like a cave man in a deep freeze, I got fed up and left, in full "screw it" mode, even though I had a few months left on my lease. The guy I was renting from never pursued it, presumably since I bought him new plumbing after the old froze and busted. My question then is when I try to rent this new place, is there any way for them to check out my less than stellar history of renting? I know I wasn't exactly professional with what i did. I have learned my lesson- namely don't rent anywhere in hick a** Show Low, Arizona unless you have a lot of patience and money.

Home depot or Lowes sells Epoxy garage floor kits. It's a 2 part mix that is pretty thick. Once mixed you don't have a lot of work time so you squeegee it out real thin and then go over it with a dry roller to spread it evenly. It has some fumes so you want to ventilate the area. The next day you will basically have a plastic coating on the floor that will last forever and will clean up easy.

The fact that you found sealer on the head gasket shows you that this car was worked on by people who had NO IDEA what they were doing. Therefore, you have to assume that nothing was done right. I doubt there is any problem with the rings. 99% of the problems on these engines are the heads and head gaskets. You need to recheck the head for straightness and flatness, and vacuum check the valves to make sure they are actually seating. Clamping pressure is CRITICAL on these engines, The head bolts are not reusable and MUST be replaced EACH time they are torqued down. The same thing is true of the head gasket itself, it must ALWAYS be replaced if it's been torqued down. I bet what happened is they used the old head bolts, which stretched, and they lost clamping force, which let the gasket leak. They may even have used the old gasket! Check that head and put it together right, and it will probably work. The other thing that is absolutely crucial is injection timing. If they did anything to mess up the valve timing, the engine won't run right.

Constantly tired 3year old & mood change?

My son is 3years old, his normally a happy playful child, argues to go to bed like any child. His bed time is 7.30 but wont drift off til about 8-8.30pm. He has 12hour sleeps so he will wake about the same time in the morning give or take. Usally he plays til about 10.30-11am & then he is tired again usally he will sit on the lounge & just fall sleep for 2 or so hours then wake up play again & try to go back to sleep. His mood towards me has changed his tone of voice is alot more aggressive towards me & before asking him to pick up his toys was no problem now he will come up & punch me & tell me no. Can I mix concrete and premium driveway sealer to form a strong but flexible patch?

Here is the plan. If I take crack resistant cement mix and add acrylic fortifier to make a very thick concrete mix and then mix it with asphalt sealer (premium kind with polymers) in the ratio of 2 parts acrylic fortified concrete mix to 1 part driveway sealer, mix well and apply to the weaker parts of the blacktop that have either formed depressions or shallow potholes. Do you think this fix will provide the flexibility of acrylic and polymer asphalt and the strength of concrete. Has anyone tried this? How about re-sufacing the entire driveway with this mix (about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick)? Please let me know what you think.

the header tank is the smallest ..but in most cases very little water is drawn off the header tank to fee..d a system ..that's not the way to go ...so drain some water out of a rad ..holding ball valve up in header tank ..you do not want to add water yet ..before this you add the fernox to header tank ..give it a mix ..then do the draining bit ...all water in tank should then get into system ..then refill tank by releasing ball valve ...but pinholes in rads is not good ..either over pumping and getting oxygen into system or electrolysis

Why is my oil pressure gauge not working right?

I have a 1989 Chevrolet Silverado K1500 4x4 with a freshly completely rebuilt 350 (tbi) that has a .030 bore. I had this problem before I rebuilt the engine, and I assumed the problem when I found the oil pressure sensor (for the gauge) under the distributor had a broken fitting from the previous owner trying to fix that engine (i will not go into that lol) but I got a new fitting and sensor installed it with teflon thread sealer and all that such. The engine has a new oil pump that I know works and works well and was installed properly, I know the shaft from the distributor to the oil pump is installed properly and has the small plastic piece installed properly on that also. I know the oil sensor next to the oil filter is also good. I checked all wiring connectors. I currently now have 213 grandma driven miles on the engine, now here's whats going on, when I first started the engine the pressure was between 30 & 60 and stayed close to 60 when out on the highway and close to 30 when stopped or moving at a slow speed. Now when i start it, it is at about 15 the engine runs for a few mins then nothing but a "check gauges" dummy light it shows no pressure. What could be causing this problem im kinda at a dead end tryin to figure this out? Can I get a mechanical gauge to install under the hood?

When I turn on my camera the light is orange and when I try to plug it in my computer it turns green! I've tried to look for the solution everywhere but it doesn't seem like this problem occurs very often. Please help!

By the sounds of it, about 1-3 years. Probably close to two. I had mine for two years and I had a lot of stuff done. But you should ask your orthodontist. Make sure to wear your elastics (if you get them); it'll help shorten your braces time.

What should I be charged for fitting a gas fire?

Should I prime my walls before painting?

I was planning on using behr premium plus ultra so I didnt have to prime the whole inside of my house (we recently bought a house and the ENTIRE inside needs painting) the people that lived there before had pets and let them pee/poo in the house so we are also trying to kill the smell. Someone recommended that I use kilz primer and sealer to keep out the smell as well then use regular behr paint. Would you recommend this as well?

Whats a good sealer to apply to foam?

Im working on a little home project for my fish, just trying to make a nice 3d background for them out of styrofoam but i heard after time the foam will fall apart. my question is, is there a good sealer i could use on the foam that wont hurt the fish? i could use Silicon but i don't know how i would smooth it out and get it in to those nooks and cranny's, i tried it with cement but that was a mistake. any help would be awesome.

I have a marble vanity, flooring, and tiled walls in my bathroom. We just purchased our home and I'm not sure when the last time the marble was sealed. Can you over seal marble? that looks about right to me. a symmons shower valve comes with a shower head and tub spout and runs about $200 ( maybe a few dollars cheaper if tub only). im not sure what the code is there but in RI 2 handle valves are illegal unless there just feeding a tub without a shower head. also you gotta figure $100 in pipe material and fittings. as far as labor your looking at the better part of a day depending on the wall access situation plus the cost of repairing the wall.

Should i give my dishwasher and refrigerator their own supply lines?

I am an owner builder and I am currently working on plumbing for my house. I have taken a class at a community college so I kinda know what I am doing but I have run into a dilemma. What I have read in my Stanley Plumbing book is that I do not need to give my refrigerator or my dishwasher their own water supply lines but rather can branch off the sink supply lines assuming I am only installing one sink, dishwasher and refrigerator in the kitchen (which I am). My question is: "Is that the best way to go?" I am worried that this may result in low water pressure in my sink when either the ice maker or the dishwasher is running. Also the fridge will probably have its own water dispenser too and i my book said nothing about fridges with water dispensers. Insight from experienced plumbers or people who have installed new kitchens will be appreciated. Thank you!

The home now has PVC sch40 white water pipe installed for propane use. I just had a water heater installed and they used PVC to connect to the existing PVC for cold, and propane. Copper for hot. Installer said it is ok to hook up to PVC, using PVC if PVC is already existing. My propane guy won't hook up the tank to the system. He says PVC isn't to code, and isn't safe. Says it will leak through the walls of the pipe and fill the house with gas. Contractor says it's ok . Inspector says not ok. I can't find the section that describes what to use and what not to use. Help

Burning feeling in both knees?

i'm 16, and ever since i've been 12 or 13 i've have pains in both of my knees that would occasionally occur. I was told by a doctor that it was just growing pains. it slowed down & i would only get the pains a few times a year. but recently it came back. the pain is like both knees are on fire, and they feel heavy & its hard to walk on. i don't know if it is my joints or just from muscle use...any ideas?? i don't really want to go to the doctor because it's really hard to explain & they would probably just say its still growing pains. please help thanks:)

How much would labor cost to tile the bathtub surround?

We have everything we'd need to tile ourselves, but wanted to know if, time wise, it might be better to get a professional to tile it. We currently have a plastic surround that we could easily take down ourselves, so basically, putting up cement board, laying tile, and then the grout and sealer would be all we'd need. How much does doing the standard size bath surround typically cost. The tiles are porcelain, even though I think they look ceramic, and are 12x12. These door to door people quoted us over a grand, and I pretty much laughed at them. I'm tired of these "project managers" who take half the profit, when they don't even do any work. Anyway... Miscarrige! Been Bleeding for 2 weeks 2 days!?

Im currently going threw a miscarrige and have been bleeding for 2wks 2days & at first it was light then it got very heavy! Now its only when I wipe and a little spotting ! But it smells gross! How will I know if I have an infection? I was told today by my doc to come back in 1 week to see how the bleeding is, & theyve been chking my HCG levels. Why does my TrueCrypt volume keep remounting as read-only in Tails?

He has inquired to us that his step dad through a coffee table at him.He came down one weekend and I asked him why he always wore sweat pants,never jeans or shorts. He told me because he didnt have any. We went out and bought some and sent them home(now mind you my husband paid nearly 10,000 in child support that year between the two ex wives. Where is this money going?) He has told me that he has to hide his earnings from lawn care,birthdays etc because she steals it for cigarettes. Or makes him pay the electricity bill with it. Or makes him pay gas money for her court ordered 50 % of the driving to my husband and Is house every other weekend.He has told me he recieved birthday money from a relative, and didnt even make it off the porch of their home before she took it from him.Recently i noticed his shoes which are nearly close to falling apart completely. How do I get rid of bird poop on patio?

I just stained my patio yesterday and had to wait 24 hrs for it to dry before I can add the sealer coat and today I come home to see multiple trails of white bird poop all over the newly stained patio. First, how do I get the bird poop off so I can re-stain if needed, and second, if it does not all come off and I apply the sealer coat anyway, will I then have permanant white poop stains on the patio?! I want to replace the old, worn-out formica counter top in my kitchen with a tile counter top similar to what my house had originally (built in 1900). My question is whether to use sanded or unsanded grout. I'm thinking unsanded with a good grout sealer. Is this correct? Also, what type of tile would be best?
