Can I use glue instead of a sanding sealer?

Need more info to answer but I'm gonna go with no. Glue generally can't be stained. The purpose of sanding sealer is to give a smooth surface for finishing and glue may not accomplish this task. General rule - always use the right tool for the job. Glue is for stickin stuff together.
